Instrom wins further contract with the Home Office
Instrom, independent security consultants from Buckinghamshire, has been awarded a further
contract with the National Probation Directorate (NPD) to produce specifications for new
security systems for installation within their Approved Premises.
As part of a continuous improvement plan to meet the objectives of protecting the public, staff
and residents in the Approved Premises, Instrom initially visited each location to survey it
from a security perspective. Instrom provided a detailed security report on each location,
stating the current security provision and making recommendations for improvement. Instrom
were asked to provide the specification for the security systems as a result of the good work
they completed in the initial project.
Ken Graham, Principal Consultant at Instrom commented: “This was an important piece of
work for Instrom we were pleased to be offered another piece of work based on our
professional approach to the first contract awarded to us by the NPD.”
